The May 17 mega-event will kick off Lazada Philippines’ first-ever three-day Women’s Festival, which runs until May 19, during which shoppers can choose from over 50,000 new styles and enjoy deals of with up to 90 percent off.
The “see now, buy now” fashion show held at the The Atrium of Eastwood Mall, leverages on the cutting edge in-app live streaming technology and Lazada’s e-commerce platform. This will allow both fashion show attendees and customers to watch the event on their Lazada app and buy products or brands that they see real time on the fashion runway. Viewers may also get a chance to interact with influencers and win special prizes and collectible vouchers as they tune in live.
The event is among a series of moves by Lazada to combine shopping and entertainment as the e-commerce platform spearheads Shoppertainment in Southeast Asia.
