A Glowing Dessert Filled Black Cube Is Popping Up In Sydney This Vivid

Darling Square will be light up the sky and your taste buds during Vivid Sydney with an installation by Motti & Smith and Belle Laide Events that will blur the lines between food, art and architecture.

For 23 nights, starting from Friday 24 May to Saturday 15 June, Darling Square will be home to Blacklight, an illuminated and multi-sensory dessert bar led by Gelato Messina.

The dessert bar, located in a black cube, will feature collaborations with some of Sydney’s food and beverage heavyweights opening soon at Darling Square.

Messina, DOPA, Edition Coffee Roasters and Bubble Nini will create a rotating menu of delectable glow-in-the-dark desserts, with four available each night during Vivid Sydney.

Blacklight is free of charge to visit, and the desserts are for purchase ranging from $8-$15.

Opening each night during Vivid Sydney from 6pm to 11pm and will located at 35 Tumbalong Boulevard, Haymarket, NSW, 2000
