Yoga, live house music and projections may seem like a strange combination, but that’s exactly what you can expect at a new Sound Immersed Yoga experience in Alexandria. Over five evenings, this unusual new yoga mode will take yogis on a multi-sensory journey with yoga and freestyle movements, live music and neon lighting.
Guests are encouraged to leave their daily stresses at the door and are welcomed with a steamed towel for cleansing. The yoga studio will be flooded with calming blue light and star projections, with ethereal music accompanying the session. Each class ends with a cup of T2 tea.
Classes will be led by Christian Ralston, a Sydney DJ and yoga teacher, who has fused his talents to encourage dynamic movements that aim to harmonise the mind and body. Yoga mats are provided.
From 7pm to 8pm on September 11 and 27, October 15 and 31, and November 13.
