Why your News Corp newspaper smells like popcorn today

READERS woke to the smell of popcorn with today’s edition of their News Corp newspaper to celebrate this weekend’s launch of the Great Night In Family Movie Collection.

In an Australian first, specialised scenting technology has been used to infuse the aroma of buttered popcorn on specific pages of News Corp Australia’s six capital city papers, including the Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, The Courier-Mail, The Advertiser, The Mercury and NT News.

It is anticipated the stunt will reach around 3.5 million readers across Australia.
